Review Policy

Draft — under legal review. This text is being prepared with our lawyer and may change before launch.

Reviews on PLMBR come only from real jobs arranged through PLMBR. These rules keep them honest and fair for clients and plumbers.

Who can write a review

Only the client and the plumber of a job completed through PLMBR, within 14 days after the job is completed. The client reviews the plumber and the plumber reviews the client. We do not accept invited or outside reviews.

What a review must be

  • A rating from 1 to 5 stars and a text of 20 to 400 characters about this job.
  • No phone numbers, emails or other contact details, and no one’s personal information.
  • No insults, threats, spam or advertising.

Checking before publication

Our team checks every review before anyone else sees it, usually within 5 business days. A review may be declined for one of these reasons:

  • It contains a phone number, email or other contact details.
  • It contains insulting or offensive language.
  • It contains someone's personal information.
  • It isn't about this job.
  • It looks like spam or advertising.
  • It doesn't follow our review rules.
  • It was removed after a report and our check.

If your review is declined, you see the reason and can write a new one while the review window is open.

Blind reveal

An approved review stays hidden from the other side and from the public until it is revealed: when both sides have reviewed each other and both reviews are approved, or 72 hours after approval — whichever comes first. Only revealed reviews count in a rating.

Once the other side’s review of you is revealed, you can no longer write a new review or change a pending one, so nobody can answer a review with a review. A review that is already waiting for checking stays in checking and, if approved, is revealed right away.

How reviews are shown

  • Reviews of a plumber appear on the plumber’s page without the client’s name: only the city, the service and the month of the job.
  • A plumber’s rating is the average of their revealed reviews. Search engines receive it only once the plumber has 3 published reviews.
  • Reviews of a client are never public. Plumbers see only the client’s average rating.
  • A review is the opinion of its author. We check it against these rules, but we do not confirm every statement in it.

Changing or deleting your review

You can edit your review while it waits for checking, and delete it at any time. The rating is recalculated right away.

Plumber replies

A plumber can reply once to a revealed review about them, in up to 400 characters, without contact details. Replies are checked by the same rules before they appear.

Reporting a review

If a published review breaks these rules, use “Report this review” under it. Our team checks every report and may remove the review.
